Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Aris Tech LLC ("Aris," "we," "our," or "us") governing your access to and use of the Aris desktop application, mobile application (iOS), website at youraris.com, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase a subscription or credits.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.

Length of subscription: 1 month, auto-renewing.

Price: $4.99 USD per month (prices in other currencies are equivalent to the current tier in the Apple App Store and may vary by region). New subscribers may be eligible for a 3-day free trial, after which the subscription automatically converts to a paid monthly subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period.

Auto-renewal: Your subscription automatically renews each month at the then-current price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

How to cancel: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time by going to your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, selecting Aris, and choosing Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds: Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Refund requests for Apple-billed subscriptions are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policy. Aris does not directly issue refunds for subscriptions purchased through the App Store.

Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

In addition to the Aris Pro subscription, the Service offers credit packs for usage-based access to AI features. Credits are sold in fixed quantities and are consumed as you use the Service.

Credits are non-refundable once consumed and have no cash value. Unused credits remain on your account as long as your account is active. Credits are for personal use only and may not be resold, transferred, or exchanged. Refunds for unused credits purchased through the App Store are subject to Apple's refund policy; credits purchased through our website are subject to the refund policy disclosed at checkout.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Use the Service to generate sexual content involving minors or any other content prohibited by our AI providers' acceptable use policies
• Abuse, overload, or interfere with the Service or circumvent any rate limits or access controls
• Share, resell, or sublicense your account or access credentials
• Use automated means to scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Service

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice or refund.

The Service uses third-party AI models (including models from Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, and Groq) to generate responses. AI output is probabilistic and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You should not rely on AI output as professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise).

You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and determining the appropriateness of any AI output before relying on or acting upon it. Aris makes no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, or fitness of AI output for any particular purpose.

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant Aris a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (including routing it to third-party AI providers on your behalf). We do not claim ownership of Your Content, and we do not use Your Content to train AI models.

The Service, including the Aris application, website, design, branding, and all associated content (excluding Your Content and third-party AI output), is owned by Aris Tech LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service solely in accordance with these Terms.

The Service integrates with third-party services (including AI providers and optional integrations such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Telegram, Follow Up Boss, and Dotloop). Your use of those services is governed by the terms and privacy policies of the respective providers. Aris is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

The following terms apply if you access the Service through the Apple App Store. These Terms are entered into between you and Aris Tech LLC only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Aris, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Service and its content.

Scope of License: The license granted to you for the iOS application is limited to a non-transferable license to use the application on any Apple-branded product that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Maintenance and Support: Aris is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services with respect to the iOS application. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance and support services.

Warranty: Aris is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of the iOS application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the application to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the iOS application.

Product Claims: Aris, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the iOS application or your possession and use of it, including (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.

Intellectual Property Rights: In the event of any third-party claim that the iOS application or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Aris, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.

Legal Compliance: You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Third-Party Beneficiary: You and Aris acknowledge and agree that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that, upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, to us, or to third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) will survive.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARIS TECH LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ARIS IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $50 USD.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aris Tech LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
